Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information GlobalUnpaid LLC collects when you use globalunpaidllc.com, why, and what you can do about it. The short version: we collect very little. There are no accounts for readers, no forms, no advertising and no analytics on this site.

Who we are

This website is run by GlobalUnpaid LLC. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean GlobalUnpaid LLC, and “the site” means globalunpaidllc.com. You can reach us about anything in this policy at admin@globalunpaidllc.com.

What we collect

When you read the site

Like almost every website, our hosting server automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested. This includes your IP address, browser type, the page you asked for, the page that referred you, and the date and time. These server logs are used to keep the site running, to fix errors and to protect it against abuse. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with other information.

When you email us

The site has no contact form. If you write to us by email, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to tell us. We use that only to read and answer your message, and to fix the site if you have reported an error. Please do not send documents or personal details about your case. We cannot give advice on individual situations, so there is no need to share them.

What we do not collect

  • We do not run analytics or visitor-tracking tools.
  • We do not show advertising or use advertising cookies.
  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
  • Comments are switched off, so we hold no comment data.
  • Readers cannot create accounts on the site.

Cookies

The site does not set cookies on ordinary visitors. WordPress, the software the site runs on, sets cookies only for people who log in to manage the site. If that changes, for example if we ever add analytics, we will update this policy first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

Links to other websites

Our articles link to official sources such as the US Department of Labor, state labour departments and court websites. When you follow a link, you leave this site. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

How long we keep information

Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider and are then deleted automatically. Emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your message, and then deleted.

How we protect information

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to the site’s administration area and to our email is limited to the people who run the site.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how it is used. This includes rights under the GDPR in the UK and EU, and under state privacy laws in the United States such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. In practice, the only personal information we are likely to hold is an email you sent us. Write to admin@globalunpaidllc.com and we will answer within 30 days.

Children

This site is written for adults dealing with unpaid work. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
